Powdered Polyethylene Wax
Polyethylene wax powder is one of the most important additives in the PVC industry, produced and supplied in two forms: a prill form (PE Wax 125S) in the form of spherical sugar-like particles and a soft powder form (PE Wax 120P) with very fine particles. This polyethylene wax shows the least weight loss during processing compared to similar waxes due to its low viscosity and high melting temperature.
A key feature of polyethylene wax is its effective lubrication in the early, middle, and final stages of processing, combined with excellent thermal stability. Using PE wax ensures that the final PVC product remains free from blooming or oily layers, while the molten phase contains no undigested particles. This additive is odorless and FDA compliant, which provides additional value for industrial applications
