Stearic Acid is a saturated long-chain fatty acid used in polymer, detergent, and cosmetic industries. In plastics, it acts as a lubricant, thermal stabilizer, and processing aid in PVC, EVA, and rubber production. It reduces friction between polymer and mold, improving the surface finish. Stearic acid is a key ingredient in lead and Ca/Zn stabilizers for PVC. It is also a fundamental component in white and black masterbatch formulations.
